Spring Break camping

We took a short camping trip to Blue Ridge, GA for spring break. We got there when the weather was in the 70's and left it in the 30's and snowing. Only in the south in April! Here is the view from our campsite. Just a really nice place. We will definitely go back.

The gang on the swinging bridge. This bridge was built in the late 70's over the Toccoa River about 4 miles back in the woods. Took a little bit to get to, but so worth it. Very cool.

Parker loves to ride his bike where ever he can so riding in the snow was a must!

And then our camping trip turned to a snowy one. We knew the possibility was there and it was fun playing in it for a little while.

Best Friends and Egg Hunts

Avery is a big girl!

Avery turned 2 on St. Patty's Day! We can't believe it's already here. We had a great turn out even though the weather didn't want to cooperate.

I love the way she looks at him. Even if one minute she is tackling him and the next she is hugging him without being asked, she seriously loves him. It's so sweet!

Sea World and Universal

We took a trip with my parents and Trevor and Emily for New Year's to Sea World and Universal Studios. It was a great time and the kids were excited to see Shamu again

We got a picture like this of them last summer when Avery was 4 months old so we might be starting a tradition.

Christmas 2008

Here are some pictures of Christmas from our gang. Avery got the whole kitchen with food, utensils, plates, tea sets, etc. We put it all in the playroom downstairs and she wants to go downstairs every second now. Parker's big present from Santa was a remote controlled truck with a 4-wheeler on a trailer. We will find room for all the stuff in time for birthdays in a few months! Thank you Santa (and grandparents)!

Do you think she gave Santa a kiss after this? Even after the terrifying experiences with Santa (here and at church), she would still wave at him wherever and would say "Woo Woo Woo" when asked what Santa says.
